Christmas Ornaments I made of toilet paper rolls..I like to call it "recycling glam." Painted and glittered later but liked better this way! |
Christmas was a bit of a marathon in terms of getting the gifts I was making finished and shipped off to the right recipients. I am looking for a new space for my biz! I am looking for a new house for the members of my very own motley crew! I feel a little as though I'm floating.
Regardless I thought I'd share some pics of all the craziness I was up to up until the holidays and a couple of reminders for the New Year's to keep your feet attached to the ground.
1) As the Buddhist's state, whether you're happy, sad, indifferent, or virtually hopeless- one thing remains the same. This too shall pass..Everything about life is transitory and ephemeral. That is what makes it bittersweet and beautiful and is why we must stay as PRESENT as possible.
2) It struck me today that only 7 years before I was born Martin Luther King Jr. was murdered while bravely endeavoring to bring about equal rights. And today we have an African American President. As much as progress may seem to stop and start, when you think of the wonder with which Martin Luther King would see our choice of president..well it just makes me feel hopeful and blessed to be living in this time in history.
3) Breathe.
Blessings to You and All You Love!
